What is Momilies and More About?

Momilies and More offers reflections and insights on life and faith, written by a Mother, Educator, Theologian, and Writer, intended for all who might be interested in thinking about the different ways one’s faith is lived out in daily life.

In this blog, I hope to give people food for thought.  Food that feeds people’s souls as they seek to live out their own faith. Sometimes faith gives us insight into life.  Sometimes life gives us insight into faith.   At all times, life and faith are mutually informing and enriching each other… but too often we aren’t aware of the connection.  As an educator with a background in pastoral theology, I hope to help people see the multitude of opportunities to make these connections for themselves through my stories.

As much as the roles of Mother, Educator, Theologian, and Writer are a part of my hermeneutic, so is my Catholic identity.  I don’t necessarily write for an exclusively Catholic audience; nor do I intend for my readers to be limited to mothers.  However, I would be remiss if I didn’t explicitly recognize how much these parts of who I am will be reflected in my writing.
